The budu day.

It’s only the second day of the mid-sem break and we have gone haywire. Hahaha. By we, I mean me and Fli. Yes! We are stranded here in UTP. STRANDED I TELL YOU! But, not gonna blame anyone but ourselves. Haha. Let me tell you one thing. I’m not the type of person who would just sit in my room and make compromise with silence and boredom. NO! Haha. And, apparently, Fli is not that type too.

And what the hell did we do?

Upon waking up around 9.30 a.m. I was forced to wake up with back pain and strains in the leg and thigh. damn. This must’ve been the aftermath of walking aimlessly in Ipoh Parade and that bowling alley. Then, I remembered yesterday’s plan with Fli, that is to cycle around UTP in the morning. So, I msg him to go cycling at 1o.3o a.m. J was already awake and he went to wash his cloths. So, after brushing my teeth, and washing my face (With Nivea for Men Facial Wash), the plan was on!

We went in search for unchained bikes and fortunately I got a bike that is really, really stable! Woo Hoo! and of course, Fli found some crap, eh, i mean bike to ride on too. Haha. Fli, kalau ko baca ni, jangan marah ba. Hahaha. Men2 ja ni. Found a bike pump too, and use it of course, and Hallelujah! the bike is so smooth going. Haha. At first we just rode around the V6 parking lot and I even captured a video of me riding bike (NO! not sakai! haha. just for remembrance). When I review the video, adoi, rupanya my phone’s mic is broken, I forgotten about that. Damn. So the video was a film without sound, simply put.

After that, we stopped for a while and went back to my room. J was surfing and and was MSN-ing, and again, we were bored. Haha. Couldn’t sit still, yet again, and after dumping our pail of clothes in the washing machine, we decided to go round UTP. Initially, I only wanted to check whether Kopetro is open or not, but after finding out the shop is closed, sigh, and USM also close, another sigh, we decided to go round V2 if the cafe is open or not. The shutted shutters indicates the closure of the cafes so we moved on to v5. Actually, I made the suggestion to go straight to v5 just to check. Haha. After making the round, we saw that the cafe in v4 is closed, but we didn’t check on v5 and v3 and went straight down the road leading to Chancellor Hall.

On our way there, the breeze was so relaxing and tranquil but then, it didn’t help me cycle uphill. Hahaha. No, seriously, it didn’t! But I managed anyway. Haha. The journey downhill was way more fun than going uphill, obiously la kan, duh.. haha. We didn’t even have to cycle and we did the one-hand and no-hand stunt. hahaha. Like little children only. Then we arrived at the Chancellor Hall and made our way back to the hostel. At that time, I was having a blast messing with the bike’s gears and I was in a full throttle speed and Fli was behind me. Haha. As I gradually pressed on the brake, I made a right to go to the hostel. At that comfortable speed, I turned my head around, only to see that Fli is down with the down, apparently had an accident on the junction. Sigh. Haha. He was laughing, so I guess he was alright. I asked him if HE was okay, and he said okay. In the room, he said I asked about the BIKE. Sigh. Haha. Hampa sia.

Then, we went back to the room (it’s like a cycle right since the beginning of this post, no pun intended) and this time we stayed inside the room and mem-BABI. I repeat, mem-BABI. Haha. Strummed some chords, rolled in bed, and singing along to handphone music. Sigh. I know, it’s really saddening. Haha. Then, I took my shower (like finally. Haha) and after that rolled in bed again for no apparent reason before preparing myself a bowl of Mamee Mee. Hehe. Fli was on the double decker, while J was watching tv at Methana Block(I later found out that he was actually asleep in front of the tv. Hahahaha), and Alex was watching movie in my laptop. Then suddenly, outside my window was a shirtless-spectacled figure. Eh, Abang Terry pula. Haha. He entered my room and played the guitar for a few minutes before deciding on sleeping. Haha. After he left, Fli was asleep, Alex was still focusing on the screen, I was annoyed, yet amused by the presence of a few flies in the room. Damn. Haha.

Then, I grabbed my ping pong bat and started hunting for the flies. I tell you, it’s amazing what boredom means to me. Haha. And what I do in times like this is much more amazing. Haha. I was murmuring curses for the flies to be gone while slowly positioning my bat over the poor annoying flies. I killed 5 of them while 2 ran away(cowards). It took a while but it was still an achivement. Haha. TIme flew by, with me singing some songs out loud. Then, at 6 p.m. Me and Fli was pumped up to go to the Sport Complex to play ping pong. I message J (who was still not in the room at that time) asking whether he wants to join us or not. He said yes and I saw him go out of Methana. Then, in the room, I asked him what he watched and he said he was sleeping. Hahaha. Lawak eh. So, after that, we cycled our way to the Sports Complex and played ping pong. J played a game with Fli then went on swimming in the pool. So long already I didn’t play ping pong. But, can still play la. It’s just that SOMEONE is always better than me in something. Haha. Nda pa, I have 4 years to beat him (at least once in everything. ) Haha.

After going home, we saw that Abg Terry’s room was dark, so I messaged him asking if he already eaten or not and he said he was eating in v4. Yay! Got cafe open! Haha. Again, we cycled to the cafe, Me and Fli arrived first despite J and Alex went first. Haha. I ate some lame food. Ugh. Sorry. I just had to say that. I wasn’t full and the food tasted stale. After eating, we hang around there for awhile, chatting, and laughing, then after the food have been digested in (or so we think), we made our way back. It was so funny when Me and Fli tried to cycle uphill, without any momentum near the v4 cafe. Haha. I finally decided to psh the bike upwards and Fli kept trying until he resorted to pushing. Haha. We arrived first, again, ahaha, then we went on to the Sports complex to swim!

Ah, at least I proved to Fli I CAN swim. Haha. We even race, but again, no need la to mention. Haha. Then, suddenly, while I was swimming happily, ahaha, Fli was already out wiping himself, a loud voice caught my attention. He was on the other side of the fence, asking us to come to him. Then he wanted to see us ont he other fence, so I ran to take my clothes and towel, while Fli listened to his lecture. Haha. Then, I joined in, getting lecture from the man about not to tresspass. Haha. Adoi. The ex-Navy told us so many things, and repeated many things also. He talked about respect and the outer world. We gave him our fullest attention. Well, actually, I was busy trying to get the water out of my ear and was wiping myself like crazy. Haha. But after that, he let us go without any summon or report to the Security officer. Yay! Haha, and of course, you guessed it! we cycled home and here I am now, typing this blog entry.

The day is really boring, but I guess you gotta learn how to make it fuN! and boy did we had fun. Haha. My partner in crime, Fli, memang best punya. Haha. Now, J is asleep over there, with his side of the room darken. I’m still listening to my hand phone music now. I dunno what to do tonight. I guess I’ma have to go to sleep soon. Sigh. Haha. Anyway, Hopefully the IRC opens tomorrow.

WAH!! it’s 29th ody!! My bday! tomorrow!! Huhu..

Raya is coming up soon, heck, it’s about 2 days away and I still have to sit for a test later at 4. Yeah! A Moral Test! I don’t know what happened to Mr. Krishnan last Saturday until he had to cancel the test. Dammit. Guess what? After the test later, we gotta attend the Moral lecture and Debate. Take another guess here – Who’ll be debating? Yeah2. It’s gonna be me.

Am I prepared for it? aiya, don’t ask. Haha. I just finished my script yesterday with so much help from my friends even from the one I just know. Thank you guys (as if they’ll be reading this anyway) and also to my sis Sofie(who is faraway in Sabah I think) for giving me her 2 cents worth as well. Haitz. Actually I’m supposed to be in LR10 for the Maths tutorial but since I’m still not quite ready for the test and debate, I decided to skip the tutorial(90% attendance. You can miss one. So, family members, don’t fret so much. Hahaha).

How long has it been since I last blog ah? Everytime I have something to blog about, whenever I come to this page(write post) I end up closing the tab almost immediately. Dui. Haha. Thank God this time I type what I want straight away. Okay, I bring many2 news an stories to be shared.

Last Saturday, Me, Mark, Flee, J and Daphne rented a car to go to Ipoh. Initially, the plan was to only rent for 2 hours to buy KTM tickets to KL. But sadly, the car renter said the minimum rent is for half a day which is 12 hours la. So, we seal the deal anyway and went to Ipoh. Daphne followed us because she wanted to go to DIgi Center to get back her sim card. Haha. It’s so funny. She lost the card twice already. She wanted to g to Jusco but we didn’t know the way to go there. But, miracles happen when we at the KTM station to buy the ticket, the booking counter was close and will only be opened at 10pm. The miraculous thing was, there was an uncle who was about to mount on his motor when we manage to ask him the way to Jusco. All I remembered was take left, take left, take left. Haha.

Then, we went for yam cha, in the middle of nowhere. Haha. Me and Flee patak2 duit to buy ping pong bats(like finally. we’ve been trying to buy them for a month already!). After that, we went to Ipoh Parade, and at that time, it was already 6 pm. We planned to go to church at 7(and the church is only a 5-minutes walk from Ipoh parade).  We decided to play a game of bowling with Daphne being an ayam as she refuse to join us. Haha. Damn it, I lost my bowling touch. AND. yes. AND. I slipped and fell after I threw to the ball at one time. HOW EMBARASSING WAS THAT?! damn it. Everyone was laughing, obviously at me, and of course to cover koyak, I laugh with them at my own stupidity. After bowling, J and Mark went to the church, but since Flee and Daphne will be left alone if I go church (I mean, it’ll probably be awkward for them to be alone together, and Flee did ask me to go with them), I stayed at the Parade with them and we went window shopping!. It was so funny if you ask me to be trying out clothes, err, let me rephrase that. It’s so funny to be trying out the clothes and things you’ve tried on the last week and the week before it. Hahaha. It always look much better with time I guess. Then, we went back to the church compound to meet up with Mark and J and suprise, suprise, we saw Yves, jV and another dude just behind Mark and J when they were walking out of the church. Thankfully, or should I say miraculously again, we now have a guide to go to Jusco. Hehe. We followed behind jV’s Gen 2 and went to Jusco! Yay.

Then, it was dinner time! And guess where we went to eat! Guess guess! Easy one. We went to McD!!!! You don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve ate Mcd Food. emmmmm. The memories of working for 4-months in McD Karamunsing came back to me. Haha. You get all the good stuff when you work. Anyway, I ordered McChicken medium set meal and only God knows how high was I went I took the first bite out of that burger. EmmMmM. Daphne was laughing at me, and so did the guys. I don’t know why, my eyes just roll back into the inside when I was eating the burger. Emmmmm. Hahaha. Sorry2, got carried away there. Hahaha.

ANYWAY, we explored Jusco(again.) and talked a lot. We even met our Business tutor with 2 of our course mate(sorry, wo hai bu tze dao ni men de ming zi. Haha. As if what i said is right). Then, Daphne spend me waffle (Kang zai wo ching ta Mcd liao). When it was close to 10, we went inside Jusco and me and Daphne smelled a bunch of softener bottles. Haha. I finally chose the white color comfort softener bottle. Then, we took many other things especially the ones that Syahmi asked us and pay up and leave. When we arrived back at the KTM station, initially the woman at the counter didn’t want to sell the ticket claiming that the booking hours is close(We didn’t see the schedule back in the evening. It stated 10-11pm, and it was already 11.20 at that time). Miraculously(I know, i know, haha), the pleads from J and us got the best out of the lady and she booked the tickets from us. Yay! We have tickets! And then J drove back to UTP.

It was damn tiring but still, Had fun like always and with Daphne around(who is claimed to be my twin) it’s even funner(Are there such adjectives?) Haha. Well, that was the end of the trip.

Oh ya! Forgot to tell something. I got my maths test results already. I got 78/100 for my test and my total marks together with Quiz 1 is 132/160. This total mark ranked 64th in the class. Dammit. Haha. I’ve to strive better. No more procrastinate(this one hard to lose one) hopefully. Haha. What else did I forgot? Hmm. Oh ya! That day me and Syahmi went for a night Jog near our village. It’s so fun and slimming. Hahaha.

Well, I guess that’s it. Somebody’s gonna be older in a matter of 6 days!

My debate went awesome(well, at least that’s how I see it.) Our team lost by a mere 5 points. Alex got the best speaker award as expected. Amrith came close losing only to Alex by 2 points. Haha. It was fun la to debate like that but so frustrating when you finish the debate, you still don’t feel satisfied that you know you could’ve done better. Haha. Anyway, whatever la.

oh ya, test was easy. I came out of the test room first. hahaha.

It’s now 1.32 a.m. It’s now the 18th of September 2008. It’s now supposed to be my sleeping hours. I don’t know what I’m still doing here blogging. Once again, I’m using Jimi’s broadband modem to enjoy the luxury of surfing smoothly. Damn, I need to get one of these soon. Hehe.

1. Maths test 1
.
In this week alone, we have 3 tests to endure. Maths was the first subject that we wee to be tested upon. I was not really worried to sit for the test as I knew I came prepared for it. Although it’s hard to get what the lecturer said in class, the exercises we did during tutorial was really helpful and the tutor is really really awesome. Maths are actually very very fun, simple and it boost up my endurance skills. Uiseh. Haha. Outside lecture and tutorial, the only guide I have was my friends and the overweight text book. Thankfully, my companies here are not the type that waits for the last minutes to start studying. So, I did come into the test room prepared. But the last question was so hard! Maybe I lack exercise on that part but still, it was hard. Haha. Aish. Pray ja la.

2. Drama & Debate
.
Guess what? For my English tutorial Drama presentation, I got the main character for the character I, in Keys Locks and Open Doors. Now don’t get excited over there. This is a group work and my team mates are very sporting and hilariously silly. Aiya, I hope this turns out okay. God-bless-him, my tutor mr. Azam postponed the drama presentation until the Raya Celebration is over! Yay! Haha.

When I was in the cafe just now, I received an sms from my Moral group leader, Amrith. Moral Debate 8 gp 4 vs gp 25. I was blurred at first but then sense kicked in and I finally recall that I’m in group 4. Haitz. Haha. We’re gonna be the affirmative team supporting the motion of “National Service should be abolished”. Hopefully I’ll get some points. Suprisingly, Jeremy (wo de roomate) in in the opposing team. Wahaha. And their leader is Alex. Mati la ni. Haha. Nda pa ba, J and Me hand in hand helping each other although different team. Hehe. I want to beat Alex.

3. KL?
.
We’ve been planning to go to KL, and by we, I mean me, J, and Flee. One problem is, we haven’t bought the tickets to go there and of course, we don’t have any place to crash in for the nights there. Haiye. We’ll see this weekend if we can go to KTM to buy ticket. Hopefully there’s still tickets to go KL during Raya.
Well, actually those are the only things that I wanted to put up here. I’m getting sleepy(finally). Dr. Ong’s gonna give us the quiz 1 results later. I hope I score good marks. Hehe. Damn. My stomach hurts and I’ve been hit with diarrhea since yesterday. All the cafes have flies flying and nesting around their food. Sigh. Can’t they be a bit more hygienic. Nasib time Maths test perut sia nda mogompuvang mogunsamang buat hal. Hahaha.

Well, J’s asleep already. So, I better get mine too. Lights off

It’s now 3.20 am. Aiya. Lambat suda ni. Who am I kidding? It’s not like I’ve never stayed up late before. Ahh. Something’s very wrong today. I mean yesterday. Aish. Ni la ni minda orang sudah penat. J is already asleep there and he got test tomorrow. Lucky them. Techno students are still very relaxed and happy (HURRAY!).

Ish. Apa ba sia merepek ni.

Si Jimmy makan burger. Si Flee suda tidur. I’m so sorry! Ketara betul xda apa sia mau cakap ni. Okay2. Let’s try this again.

Just now, we finally got a head start with our ICIS assignment. Damn. Building a website is not as easy as we have presumed. Thank the Lord, Kian(one of our members) have Dreamweaver software, or else, we’ll be dumb by typing away HTML codes using notepad(the horror!). He even had the pdf file of “Macromedia Dreamweaver for Dummies”. Haha. Kami la tu dummies. As easy and fascinating it might looked at first, the sofwtare proves to be a challenge. Haitz. Flee was the one who experimented the software and he seemed very experienced in designing the site(dui. padahal cakap lain ni mula2). So, after the miraculous start, our ideas started flowing in and I’m proud to say we have at least 3 pages done (the minimum required page is 10). Yay!

Friday is such a long, freaking, boring day. The only class for the day was Business Management, and after less than the preset 2 hours, we were freed with a glorious news and a task from our lecturer. The glorious news was : “Since there have been many queries from you regarding test 1, I want to make it clear that there won’t be a Test until you come back from the mid-semester break” as I quote him. YAY!!!!! Hahaha.

Speaking of test, most of our lecturer gave a nod to us that there will be tests for the respective subjects next week namely Moral, ICIS and Thinking Skills and Maths. Ok, Now go ahead and ask me : Am I ready?

NO!

Of course not. Hahaha. I mean I have been paying attention in class(I think la) and I believe all the lectures are absorbed into my head except for maybe Moral because Moral is so boring and the Techno students are seated at the back of the lecture hall. Anyway, I will read up my lecture notes and start some Q&A session with Flee. I hope I can score! I know I can! Oya, just wanna put up one more update. In my previous post, I’ve stated that I got 54/60 for my m3 right? I bring more good news! Yes yes. It will keep on coming because I just keep on rolling! Haha. I got 26/30 for my Business Management test. Muahaha. Best nya. I still can compete! And now I’m proud to say and proclaim that:

I DESERVE TO BE HERE. yes. It was by fate and luck that I’ve been selected but now I can say that I deserve my spot here.

Ahhh. Teringat lagi sia satu barang. Haha. I’ve lost some weights I THINK. Hahahaha. Yesterday, I tried on my black slack and aiseseh when I wear it, I look like a Hip Hop dude. Hahaha. Why? Because the slack was so loose already especially in the thigh area (You can hear the choir sing : Alleluia!). Hahaha. Yes! Before this, I could hardly button up the slack and my thighs would squeeze in agony inside that slack. yeah! I hope I’ll continue to tone down in the weight section. Hehe. Ada azam ni mau joging di blakang village kami every weekdays petang. Yay!

Nah. It’s 3.56 am already. Jimmy is playing with his laptop. I’m still typing here and I’m still not sleepy. haha. Bukan ada apa2 jua ba bisuk nanti. The engineering students have Physics test so I guess I can sleep until 11 or 12. Muahaha. Then maybe go Ipoh with the gang.

Ba. Enough la this. Wo yao swwei(sui. TIDUR) ahaha. Wo hai bu hui chiang hua yi. Wo peng you Daphne ciao wo chiang zai wo hui. hehe. Yay!
