The Sabahan Geng

Looking back at this semester, I see a lot of my times spent here in UTP are with my Sabahan Geng. Not to be racist, not to be state-cist(is there such words? hahaha) and not that I don’t wanna hang out with the people from other state. It’s just that you feel good knowing that being so far away from home, there’s actually people here that you could talk to, and they make you feel like home. That probably explains why I’m not AT ALL feeling homesick when I’m in this campus.

Muahaha.

That doesn’t mean I don’t go making new friends and acquaintance. Heck, I’m not that selfish okay. I know most of my coursemate already. Yes. Most. Hahaha. Not all. Some are still strangers to me. You want me to list the names here? Hmm. Okay. Let me try. *please don’t screw up*

ANYWAY. This was not the point of the post. Haha. Got distracted over there.

Please be open-minded people, whenever you see me with my Sabahan friends, don’t judge us by saying we keep sticking on to our own people, and please don’t say that about Sarawakian who go by their crew too. It’s just like you people. Yes, now I’m refering to people outside Sabah/Sarawak. You got your own crew and you go with them everytime you go somewhere right? The Language is much similar with each other here than in Sabah/Sarawak. We try to adapt to but please, give us the chance to do so okay? Hehe.

Now, Let me just say, last night was a great night. Me, Mark, Jeremy (J) and Yves were in one car, and Nuzul, Jimi, Syahmi, Fli, Alex were in another. We went to Ipoh Parade first because we wanted to go to the St.Michael church, just across Parade. So, we hung out at Parade first. But, seriously. Ipoh Parade sucks. I mean for hang out. It’s like there’s nothing there for entertainment. Bowling? It gets old and yesterday there was a tournament there. Haitz. Anyway, us four went to church while Fli, Alex and Nuzul stayed in Cyber and Syahmi and Jimi went shopping I think.

After church, I rang them and we went to Jusco. Hehe. It’s sad that there’s only these two places that we know of here. Hahaha. Nevermind, we’ll explore more next sem. So, we went to eat KFC. Argh. Fattening. Then, we went to buy colour pencils at Popular for the Thinking Skills paper. Haha. Next, we planned to bowl, and so we went upstairs and since there’s many people, we decided to play snooker! Hahaha. Wasted an hour there and then suddenly, I saw Karaoke-box or K-box. Dunno why they call it Q-box there. Hahaha. Sang my heart out for 5 songs I think and crashed into Syahmi’s K-box session and the other gang’s. Nuzul. Kau geng Kbox ku. Hahaha. Damn. I should’ve recorded us singing Generasiku. We brought the house down. Hahahaha. As if it was a concert. Haha.

Then, we went back home. Hehe. Dropped J and Mark at V2 since they have appointments with their significant other. Muahaha. Then, I brought the car back to V6, through the back road. Hahaha. You see, I’m excited because I don’t have a license yet and I just learnt how to drive here. Hahaha. Brought the car until gear 4. Muahahaha. Punya bodoh.

Haitz. Then, sent the car back to Seri Iskandar before heading back and read ICIS. Sad. Haha.

Really glad that I come to know these people here. And I’m looking forward to the next 4 years in UTP with all you people! Woo Hoo!

MORAL PAPER!!! aRgh!! Mr. Krishnan never explained to us the allocation of marks for the paper. Well, blame him and blame ourselves for not asking. Stupid me. Haitz. Serve me right to answer half page for a question that offers 5 marks. Well. No use regretting. We’ll wait for the results, THEN we’ll regret everything.

Whatever la for now. At least I know that I did not crap my way through the paper and at least I can get surely 50% out of the paper, so I’ve passed the paper la, I think. Hehe.

Yesterday’s paper was easier than expected (How come it’s always easier in the big exam?), or maybe it was only me who had this silly mindset of the question is gonna be effing hard?. Yes. It must be me. Anyway, I gave justice to myself answering all the questions, confidently and nicely. Thank God for shining the light for me during the exam. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention here how COLD the chancellor hall was. It was freezing cold! Thank god I brought my sweater with me. But still, my hands were literally frozed up when I was writing! I mean, it frozed. Couldn’t move at all. How sad was that? Nasib baik the exam was 3 hours long. So, I could warm myself, and still finish the paper in the nick of time.

Well, I’ve got 4 more paper to go. I’m quite happy, and excited that tomorrow’s paper will be maths. Finally, something I’m good at. I’m seriously not bragging here. 2 days of writing long essays of answer is killing my hand. I think they even gotten smaller. Heh. It’s good to know I still rock at maths! I got my coursework marks for Maths(excluding quiz 2 and 3) and I got 44 something. I ranked 26/110. Not bad eh? Hahaha. Before this I was 64 in class. Saddening. But I guess my assignment and test boosted me. Seriously wanting to score A+ for Maths.

These days, I can’t help but put my phone in Offline mode or in other smart-phone-term : Flight mode. To make sure I can focus while studying and to make sure that I won’t get distracted again. Well, it’s kinda working, but this laptop here is still getting in the way. I mean, I can’t help but switching it on and go online.  Argh! But nevermind, soon enough, the owner – Pantut-kun(click to go his blog) will take over and I’m pretty sure he’ll be blogging about his day as well, and start listening to his japanese songs. Hehe. Domo Arigatou anyway pantut-sama! Hahaha.

Oh, I am totally in too deep with the exams that I forgot : NEXT WEEK HOLIDAY SUDAH!!!! Oh my!

Can’t wait to declare the holiday, can’t wait to meet my family! Can’t wait to go back home to my oh-so-smellysweet-smelling-room. Can’t wait to Karaoke, can’t wait to go Labuan, Can’t wait for Christmas, Can’t wait for driving license, Can’t wait to hang out with friends, Can’t wait to cook!

See! I’m getting really excited here. Haitz. But tomorrow is still gonna come. I mean the exams. Haitz. Argh!!

Study Mode.

Yes. It’s now the study week for me. Exams are commencing next week and I’m preparing myself for the big test. So, if you’re asking me how am I doing? erm, I’m not that good in studying here. I mean the environment is a good conducive environment to study but there’s still too many distraction around. As I have stated in my previous post, it’s hard for me to even finish up one chapter when I’m in my room.

The guitar is here, the laptops are here, the people are here. Oh my. Not that I’m complaining with all of these good things around me, right now, they are all mere distractions even with all the goodness in them. Nevermind. I shall conquer them 1 by 1.

Got 4 of my coursework marks already. Waiting for Moral and Maths marks to be posted. I hope I can score big. Considering all my coursework mark that are out now, I know I can still score for A- for all subject(A is impossible for now). But I’ll be happy if I can get B. So, gonna aim for A- and hopefully if I can’t get it, I get B instead. Shoot for the moon, should you fall, you’d fall among the stars, a quote made famous by my former principal.

I better get studying soon. Maybe now. Yes now. Oh, Marie Digby posted a new song. She’s so amazing. I love her. Hope can duet with her someday. Hahaha. Anyway, people at home, I’ll be back sooN! hehehe.

Yes. That’s how I am these days. Exams are getting closer but I’ve got plenty of reasons not to be so sad over that fact. I’m happy!

I’m happy because :

1) I got good marks for test 2!! =)
- Maths => 88/100
- Thinking Skills => 8/10
- Business => 24/30

2) I contacted a special someone. Heee. Really like the things are going =)

3) I have no class tomorrow! wahaha. So best oh.

4) I have no more assignments to do!! oh, except for moral reflection but haitz, nevermind, dividing some works with Sim and Shian Ee also.

5) Mau pulang suda!!

That’s 5 reasons why I’m really happy today. Hahaha. Yes!!

Anyway, I just wanna say.. Good Luck for those SPM exam takers. You can do it k! Especially Luluy! Hehe. Then, I wanna say congrats to my lil sis for getting her first holy communion yesterday punya yesterday. Hehe. Happy belated bday to Mama!

Test Over.

So, now we wait for the results.

Speaking of results, I got my Business Management Test 2 results already. I’m quite satisfied because I didn’t get to study chapter 10 and 11 and yet my marks are still good. Hehe. i got 24/30 !

Sat for the thinking skills paper just now. I have no idea of what my results would be like. Haha. Whatever la. Asal don’t fail. Oh yeah. I’m in the call lab now. ICIS class in 40 minutes. I finished printing all my CALL lab assignments, so now it’s just pure leisure time in the lab. I’m printing lyrics and chords. Hehe.

I’m still annoyed that my laptop is still broken. Sigh. Anyway, I think I can survive a month without laptop. I can! Wo keyi cuo!! hehehe.

ArgH! Can’t seem to blog right. Maybe it’s because of this place. People are walking pass by me and at the same time stare at the screen. HEY PEOPLE LAY OFF MY SCREEN! Haha. As if this screen is mine.

So.. 2 more weeks before the study week. I’m so Looking forward in meeting my family in KL and going back to KK!!!!!!! Yay! hahaha..

Nooo!

Okay. this is just gonna be a simple post.

My blog is on hiatus. huhu.

- My laptop is broken. Some hardware in the CPU is broken. Can’t even start it up. Damn. Damn. Damn. I’m screwed. Another month without laptop is gonna be hard. ARGH!!!

Nevermind, it gives me more chance to study. Hehe. Yay!

So, this may indicate that I won’t be updating this blog as much. Maybe in the CALL Lab or using Syahmi’s or Jimi’s laptop, but I doubt I can write long post using their laptops. Argh!!!!
